Emotional Freedom Technique -
EFT and Positive Psychology
I have assisted hundreds of clients,
and have run numerous workshops in the area of career and lifestyle
change.
In my work as a Psychologist I am
amazed at how the creative use of energy psychology techniques,
combined with cognitive behaviour therapy cbt and positive
psychology can transform my client's capacity to move
ahead.
My first exposure to energy
psychology was with a friend who used me as a 'guinea pig'
after she had done some EFT training. To be honest I didn't notice
much of anything the first time. However, I was still curious as
she was very excited about the results she was getting, and her
list of clients (she was a counsellor) was growing. I attended EFT
training with David Lake (Medical Practitioner) and Steve Wells
(Psychologist) in 1999, and tentatively began to use the technique
on myself and clients. As you will see from my Case
Studies the technique works in all sorts of situations across
a wide range of issues. If someone has a psychological or
physical problem, you can bet that someone somewhere will most
likely have tried EFT on that issue. Of course
people don't achieve success every time, and EFT
isn't a panacea for every emotional and physical ailment. To check

as my clients are willing, and regularly on myself. It works on a
huge range of issues from improving your sleeping, overcoming
fears, and even provides relief from feeling angry and
depressed.
